Mark Brewer, President, Conduent Transportation
Mark has global end-to-end responsibility over our portfolio of Transportation solutions including Public Safety, Road User Charging, Curbside Management, and Transit, helping agencies across the globe transform their mobility and payment solutions to streamline operations, increase revenue, and reduce congestion while creating safer communities and seamless travel experiences for everyone.
A seasoned senior executive, Mark has nearly three decades of experience leading enterprise software, professional and technology services organizations, with full financial and operational responsibility. He is highly regarded for his collaborative leadership ability to deliver rapid revenue growth in complex global businesses and drive customer satisfaction. Most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Global Retail at Diebold Nixdorf. Prior to that, Mark was Global Vice President for Enterprise Software and Cloud at DXC Technology.
Mark began his career as an electronics engineer with IBM in the U.K. and grew his experience within the organization for more than 20 years with various global senior executive appointments. He has served as Corporate General Manager for the Australia and New Zealand Technology services business, and General Manager for IBM’s Travel, Transportation and Retail industries. Mark brings a valuable global perspective to our team, having managed several $2B+ global technology divisions, and has served on a number of technology and cloud organization boards.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Systems Design and Mathematics from the University of Bristol, West of England, U.K.
Holly Cooper, General Manager, Public Safety and Curbside Management
Holly Cooper serves as global leader for public safety and curbside management at Conduent. With her career spanning more than 20 years, Holly is passionate about providing solutions that utilize analytics and automation to improve public safety and promote equity by reducing bias in public safety operations. She has built security projects for major data centers, industrial and commercial properties, as well as integrated solutions for schools and churches. Recently, Holly and her team partnered with the City of Chicago to implement data-driven programs to reform parking fines and enforcement, aiming to reduce the disproportionate financial impact on marginalized and low-income families. The City of Chicago Department of Finance received the 2021 Innovation Award of Excellence from the International Parking & Mobility Institute (IPMI) for this effort.
Holly graduated from Indiana Wesleyan School of Business, acquired a technology degree from Purdue University and landed her first management position at age 22. She started working in the male-dominated construction industry and is an ardent supporter of causes that elevate women. She is an executive sponsor of Conduent’s Women’s Impact Network, where she mentors associates on achieving their personal and professional goals.
Scott Doering, General Manager, Road Usage Charging
Scott Doering leads Conduent Transportation’s tolling operations and is shaping our vision for the future, as the business pivots toward emerging requirements such as congestion management and road usage charging. Bringing more than 20 years of tolling experience and valuable insights to our team, he shares our excitement for partnering with agencies to shape the future of tolling, while continually elevating our ongoing operations and expanding our business.
Scott joined Conduent after working for Cubic Transportation Systems, where he was business director for Road User Charging, driving global business development and implementation for toll programs. Previously, he was a regional Vice President and Managing Director at TransCore and a tolling General Manager at Telvent, which became part of Kapsch TrafficCom. He holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of San Diego.
Jean-Charles Zaia, General Manager, Transit
Jean-Charles joined the company in 1999 as Program Manager of European Transit and moved on to Head of Operations and Bid Managers and Managing Director of the French entity based in Valence, France. He now leads the International Transit line of business at Conduent Transportation, as General Manager.
Prior to joining Conduent, Jean-Charles began his career at Commissariat a l’Energie Atomique (CEA), where he developed location and atomic measurement software application for nuclear military experimentation in the French Polynesian Atoll. He then spent eight years at the Alcatel Alstom Group where he worked on telecommunication programs for power plant networks, and he served as the Technical Lead and Program Manager for international projects in various countries.
Jean-Charles earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Francaise d’Electronique et d’Informatique in Paris.
James Barkman, Chief Financial Officer
James Barkman has worked at Conduent for over a decade as a business partner helping to drive growth. He is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the transportation sector, and leads the global finance team.
Previous to Conduent, James worked in finance and strategic planning roles in the student loan, media, telecommunications, and aviation industries. He also has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, private and public financing, and business development. James has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from Wake Forest University.
Priscilla Koepke, Senior Director, Chief of Staff
Priscilla is Senior Director and Chief of Staff for Conduent Transportation. In this role, she leads strategic initiatives and delivers central operational efficiencies to offer clients best-in-class service and outcomes. Priscilla joined Conduent from IBM Security, where she served as the Chief of Staff for the global security business, after serving on the IBM Security Business & Corporate Development team leading inorganic portfolio opportunities in cloud security, IAM, and data security. Prior to IBM, Priscilla held senior staff roles on Capitol Hill as Professional Staff Member for the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, and Legislative Director for the Subcommittee Chairman. Priscilla also served as an Intelligence Analyst at the National Security Agency covering global financial and economic policy developments.
Priscilla received an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Business, a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from Loyola University of Chicago, and professional certifications from the National Cryptologic School and the Air Force Command and Staff College. She is a recipient of the National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation and multiple DoD individual recognition awards.
