As Sales Director, Dean supports Towns and Cities in the development of solutions to support future kerbside and parking management operations. Working in parking since 2009, Dean has held  positions on the British Parking Association (BPA) Board and BPA Council, and is the founder of Veterans in Parking UK.

Jade will be exploring how the world of traffic enforcement is evolving. Focusing on Civil parking enforcement, Moving Traffic Enforcement and Clean Air Zone and air quality schemes.

At Conduent, we have used data to intelligently deploy our on street enforcement teams and piloted mobile ANPR to drive service efficiencies. Jade is keen to continue to explore how data collected through these methods will continue to shape the on-street enforcement service of the future.

As Head of User Experience, Jade is passionate about promoting the use of technology to support local authority parking operations and improve air quality. Alongside her passion for technology, Jade is an advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as safety and professional development. Founder of women in parking and the driving force behind the implementation of the Ask for Angela scheme in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council and the Thames Valley Police.

New Approaches to Enforcement

Chris will lead a session on the fair and effective implementation of traffic regulation by local authorities and their partner to deliver safer streets, healthier neighbourhoods and accessible town centres. Drawing on the implementation of the Zero Emission Zone being undertaken in Oxfordshire.

At Conduent, we work with government agencies to support the reduction of emissions caused by congestion and to support safer streets for alternative forms of mobility.

As the UK Regional Director, Chris leads the UK Transportation business supporting our clients deliver intelligent parking management operations, sustainable enforcement modelling and road user charging. Supported by open partnerships built through collaboration and innovation.

Chris will explore how the use of automatic number plate recognition has transformed traffic enforcement and discuss how far should we rely on ANPR, AI and algorithms. With moves by police forces to deploy facial recognition.

As Senior Technology Product Manager, Chris has extensive experience in the civil enforcement camera technology market and has helped over 50 UK local authorities in adopting the relevant camera technologies to enforce difficult areas of enforcement, in line with legislation, regulation and VCA certification.
